![]() By selecting "Use server textures" your users can download the pack from you which makes it easier on them if they don't know how to install it for themselves, but it will potentially put strain on your bandwidth. They're typically loaded before you even connect to the server unless you just installed them or are changing to a different resource/texture pack after loading. Yogscast is very, very bloated with issues from a variety of sources and trying to sort them all out + learn how to set up and maintain a server is too much. If you're new to running a server, you really want to start with a smaller mod pack. Also let me know if you need my console log and I'll grab it. If I can provide any more details or explain any of my problems better, please let me know. I suspect some of this would be better addressed to the Resonant Rise forums, which I can definitely do I just wanted to bring it up in case buggy/incompatible mods are at all in ATLauncher's purview, or anyone else has had these issues. I eventually just saved my username in the ops.txt file in the ATLauncher server folder, which seems to have sorted it out, so this isn't urgent- just wondering. I just wanted to enable cheats after I created the instance, which I couldn't figure out how to do otherwise ("connect to LAN" was greyed out). Is there any way to get Minecraft Save Seed Reader to work with ATLauncher? I can only get it to access my vanilla saves. Any idea what's causing this? Again, it only started happening recently, and I believe only in single-player offline. Recently, the console has been giving me this message when the game lags: " Memory connection overburdened after processing 2500 packets, we still have to go!" when the game begins lagging severely. (Additionally, shears only worked on vanilla leaf blocks, not stained ones- I don't know if this is intentional?) It didn't resolve upon restarting my game, but eventually restarting the server seemed to fix it. I could only break leaf blocks with a sword, and dirt blocks with a shovel any other tool or empty hands just gave me the null single-hit reaction. Is there a better way to do that?Īt one point, after playing for a while, some blocks became weirdly unbreakable. I just deleted the same mods I had disabled from the server's mod folder, since it doesn't have a "disabled mods" folder of its own. Regarding disabled mods- I can disable mods for the instance, but then the server tells me I don't have the required mods to play it. Is there a better solution? Also, does disabling Galacticraft remove the mod-specific assets (ores, for example) in the chunks that have already spawned in the instance? And if I reenable it later, will the currently-spawned and/or new chunks be Galacticraft-capable? I ended up just disabling Galacticraft, and finally NotEnoughKeys itself, which isn't really ideal. I went to the "conflicting" menu and unbound the other mouse2, but it still wasn't fixed. I couldn't get B (the quick waypoint button) or M (map options) to work for Voxel's minimap, and the mod didn't show up in the keybindings menu, even under "conflicting." Additionally, it seemed like sometimes specialized mod keybindings would overwrite vanilla ones- at one point, I couldn't use mouse2 to place anything because it had defaulted to the Galacticraft binding (I think). ![]() The NotEnoughKeys mod seems a little buggy. is it something I control completely as the server host- or does everyone get their own copy of the folder that they need to tweak? I know there's an in-game option to use server textures, so I'm wondering if I should be using that somehow, and if it would apply the textures for everyone. ![]() Would my friends have to download the texture pack themselves and apply it separately? (Do my changes to the instances via the folder apply to everyone who accesses it- i.e. Is there a way to make it a server-side mod instead? Currently, I'm guessing anyone else joining the server would just see the vanilla textures, since it's not in the server folder. Similarly, I downloaded a separate texture pack and loaded it using the in-game "resource packs" option, which uses the instance's folder. If I want to invite my friends to play on my server with me, will they have to download the mod pack too? And ATLauncher? I know I'll need to set up port forwarding and give them my IP. I'm using the Yogcraft pack and testing out both single and multiplayer (using 127.0.0.1), running Java 7 at 64bit, and I allocated 5120 MB RAM in the ATLauncher settings.
